Meet Jay Modi
Jay Modi is a senior technology executive, strategist, entrepreneur and advisor with more than two decades of experience advancing artificial intelligence, cyber defense, and enterprise transformation across federal and commercial sectors. He is widely recognized for leading organizations to translate emerging technologies into operational capabilities that strengthen resilience, measurably improve decision-making, and manage risk in complex global environments.
A recognized trusted advisor to executive leadership, Jay brings deep expertise in AI-enabled risk analytics, digital transformation, and the integration of advanced technologies into mission-critical operations. His work has focused on engineering and deploying commercial and Defense Industrial Base (DIB) AI solutions, geospatial analytics systems, C5ISR and predictive and prescriptive modeling platforms that help organizations anticipate disruption, optimize supply chain networks, and strengthen operational readiness across industries including defense, space systems, financial services, and critical infrastructure.
Jay currently serves as Chief Technology Officer of AlchemAI Inc., where he leads the development and commercialization of The EDGE, an AI-powered platform that enables enterprises to identify, predict, and mitigate supply chain network risk through predictive and prescriptive analytics and dynamic optimization. Earlier in his career, Jay held leadership roles at NASA, Lockheed Martin, The SI Organization, and several emerging technology ventures.
At Lockheed Martin, he served as Chief Technology Officer for Advanced Programs within the Information Systems and Global Solutions division, overseeing C5ISR, battlespace simulation, national/tactical architecture integration and remote sensing programs supporting national security missions.
Jay is also a Cyber Leadership Fellow at Yale University and a member of the Defense Entrepreneurs Forum, where he contributes to national conversations on AI, cybersecurity and technology-driven innovation.
