Meet Benjamin Berman

Benjamin Berman- Principal Consultant

Benjamin Berman (aka “Ben”) has more than a full generation of experience working as an analyst on DMV-located projects that address the gamut of national security concerns between defense policy and law enforcement/intelligence/homeland security issues. Ben moved from his post-graduate days of internships at the National Defense University and the Pentagon’s Special Operations/Low-Intensity Conflict office into full-time work that supported the Missile Defense Agency, and his most recent work returned to the MDA sphere to cover SCRM reviews. In between those markers in time, Ben has contributed to multiple US Navy planning and forecasting projects, spent a cumulative decade of support for counter-terrorism and financial crime investigations at the FBI and ODNI, and reviewed Department of Energy projects worth billions of dollars for security concerns in 2023 and 2024.

Ben has prided himself on being able to combine research, writing, analysis, reporting, briefing when requested, and all-source forecasting whenever a contract has needed any or all of those elements to be exercised. His track record consists of finishing assignments ahead of schedule and on the highest quantitative and earliest-approval qualitative standards.

Ben received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University before moving to Northern Virginia to pursue a Master of Arts degree from George Washington. He earned his MA in International Affairs (Asian Studies focus) two years after his arrival here and has worked nonstop since then.
