Meet Braden Schrag

Braden Schrag brings over 30 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning behavioral health, social work, public safety, and the private sector. He has spent more than 16 years working across the terrorism and targeted violence prevention field as a frontline practitioner, program developer, instructor, and advisor. His early career included roles in pediatric mental health and child protection, where he developed community-based service plans and conducted investigations into child abuse and neglect.
Braden transitioned into law enforcement with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, where he has led initiatives in counterterrorism, community engagement, and intergovernmental collaboration. He co-founded the Office of Community Engagement and the Fusion Liaison Officer Program, building bridges between law enforcement and diverse communities to prevent violence and extremism. Currently serving as a Lieutenant, he oversees patrol operations, critical incident response, and officer wellness in a dynamic urban environment.
A sought-after speaker and advisor, Braden has presented nationally and internationally on topics ranging from violent extremism to community resilience. He supports global initiatives through the U.S. Department of State’s Speaker Program and leads Polymath Solutions, collaborating with institutions like Harvard Medical School and the United Nations on psycho-social programming. He also chairs the Nevada Commission on Behavioral Health and serves on the board of Bridge Counseling Associates.
